A comprehensive independent examination of digital evidence submitted by the prosecution. This includes assessment of the acquisition methodology, chain of custody, integrity verification, and the analytical processes applied to the evidence.

We examine whether the evidence was collected and processed in accordance with accepted forensic standards, and identify any departures from best practice that may affect its reliability or admissibility.

Review of evidence derived from mobile device extractions, including data obtained using Cellebrite UFED and similar tools. We assess the completeness and accuracy of extractions, and examine how the data has been interpreted and presented.

Mobile device evidence is among the most commonly relied upon by prosecution teams. Our examiner holds Cellebrite certification and has extensive operational experience with these tools — giving us a precise understanding of their capabilities and limitations.

Examination of digital media evidence, including images and video, using specialist forensic platforms. We assess the provenance, integrity, and analytical methodology applied to media evidence presented by the prosecution.

As a Magnet Certified Griffeye Examiner, we are qualified to examine and challenge evidence produced using the same platforms used by law enforcement forensic examiners.

Review of communications data, metadata, and digital artefacts relied upon by the prosecution. We assess whether the data has been correctly extracted, accurately interpreted, and fairly represented in the prosecution's evidence.

Metadata and communications data are frequently misunderstood or misrepresented. Our review identifies errors in interpretation that could materially affect the weight of the evidence.

A detailed, court-ready expert report setting out the findings of our review. The report is prepared to the standard required for use in criminal proceedings and is suitable for disclosure to the prosecution and presentation before the court.
